MRISA Jr. Basketball Boys
Posted 02/12/2019 03:33PM

Coach Micah, Coach Gomez, and Coach Shay were extremely impressed with the MS Festival Basketball Boys Team this season. With over 40 student-athletes joining in on the festivities, the developing of self-esteem, honing leadership skills, and understanding the importance of teamwork was present in amass for every team practice and game. In addition to character building through athletic experiences at UNIS Hanoi, the MS Festival Basketball Boys Team displayed improvement of skills in all areas, including communication, ball-handling skills, passing, and shooting. We are very proud of the effort put forth by all festival team participants. The future of the middle school basketball programme is bright.

"Know your role, stay in your role and star in your role." That was the theme of the MRISA Jr. Basketball Boys Team. To that effect, Segdae, Dafydd, Rahul, Clemens, August, Frank, Momo, Noah, Oliver, Ashe, Tyson, Dylan and Alinghi complemented each other on the court. As a result of unselfish team play, the boys triumphed in the MRISA championship game, decisively beating their nemesis, SSIS. The following week, the boys defended their HAC title by beating the Olympia Schools. And off the court, the boys are still enjoying the special bond that was created from this unforgettable experience!
