'Bee' Merry
Posted 08/12/2017 05:39PM

Visit the Micro-Finance for Change booth during Winterfest on December 8. We are selling honey that has been sourced from the province of Hoa Binh. We work with the community to provide micro credit loans to the women of the community to help them improve their family's economic situation. The bee farmer Mr. Nhu is part of the community, and with the money he has made selling us the honey (over the past four years) he has managed to build a new home and is looking at building a modern toilet in the future.

The students worked last weekend bottling and packaging the honey for Winterfest. If you missed out on the Winterfest sale, you can find the honey in the school store starting on Monday December 11. The price is 250,000VND for one jar and 700,000 VND for three with all profits going to fund the micro credit loans.

Enjoy the holiday season and remember to “Bee” Merry.
