Welcome to the UNIS Hanoi Co-Curricular Programme – a dynamic and ever-evolving programme designed to offer a wide range of opportunities for the children and young adults of our school community. We aim to inspire our students to actively engage in purposeful activities beyond the classroom to develop skills, to become life-long learners and responsible world citizens. Our programme is anchored by compassionate and caring professionals who contribute their time for programmes they firmly believe make a difference in the lives of our young charges. Please take the time to thank them for their support and enthusiasm in making a difference. In addition to our comprehensive co-curricular offerings for UNIS Hanoi Students, our office supports several community programmes for members of our extended community.
We believe that COMMITMENT, PERSEVERANCE, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, and RESPONSIBILITY are to be emphasized, and are characteristics representative of individuals in a high quality programme. Participation in a co-curricular group will promote social growth and maturation of all individuals involved, and support the UNIS Hanoi mission to encourage students to be independent, lifelong learners who strive for excellence and become responsible stewards of our global society and natural environment, achieved within a supportive community that values diversity and through a programme reflecting the ideals and principles of the United Nations.
Additionally, we believe that every member of the UNIS Hanoi community, including parents, should have an opportunity to become involved in the co-curricular programme, if not as a direct participant, then in other capacities such as assistant, manager, backstage crew, official, statistician, supporter, spectator, etc. We welcome involvement from the entire community, so be sure to get involved early and often. Thank you for supporting our co-curricular programmes and the school’s mission.
Finally, a special word of encouragement to our athletes, artists, musicians, delegates, performers, and all club participants – Have a great year and enjoy the journey!
Please note that the Co-Curricular Handbook 2018-2019 will be available in August 2018.
