Hey! What’s the Big Idea?
  • We believe that great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, anytime!
  • We believe that education transforms lives and society!
  • We believe that together we can change the world!

Our UNIS Impact Fund is designed to support our community’s ideas, to put them into action and to help change the world. Now we are looking for our next Big Idea! And it could be yours!

Two years ago, our community created the UNIS Impact Fund and despite Covid we have successfully fundraised for the programme’s first Big Ideas – our Botanical Garden & Sustainability Centre and our Solar Campus project.

Both projects are now being implemented using the $120,000 that our community gave to support the projects and you can read about the progress of our Botanical Garden in another article in this edition of Tin Tuc.

This week, our Impact Fund Committee (representation from students, faculty, staff, parents, administration and the Board of Directors) decided to not only continue to support these two flagship projects to full realisation, they also decided that we should look for our next Big Idea!

Today we have opened the UNIS Impact Fund Big Ideas Submission Form! And we want to hear from you!

What is your Big Idea? If you have a great project idea that you think the school should put into action, now is your chance!

Your idea should create IMPACT, support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and support the School in one of the following areas:

  • Sustainability initiatives
  • Service Learning
  • Learning Excellence: Academics, Arts, Athletics
  • Facilities improvements
  • Professional Development

Read all the details on the UNIS Impact Fund website including the detailed guidelines for submission of your ideas.

The deadline for your Big Idea is UN Day – November 19.

We want our students to wake up every day knowing we can all make a difference, explore a passion for change and empower others to build their dreams. Together.

The UNIS Hanoi Impact Fund is designed to support community inspired projects which will help do exactly that!
