Little Explorers and Young Voyagers camps (Early Years – Grade 4) - UNIS Hanoi–run Programme

Activities like music, painting, swimming, team games, and reading are just some of the highlights of the UNIS Hanoi Summer Programme for your children.

They will practice singing or playing an instrument during music class, and they will create works of art such as paintings or sculptures during art class. They will gain water confidence via swimming instruction, and coorperation and sportsmanship skills through team games. Last but not least, students' reading and writing abilities will be strengthened through participating in literacy exercises.

Your children will have a great time meeting new people and learning new things, all while discovering what they enjoy doing.

For students in Grades 5-12, the UNIS Hanoi Summer Programme offers a range of specialised academies delivered by expert external partners. These programmes allow students to explore interests in greater depth while learning from experienced professionals in their fields.

Offerings will include performing arts, business and entrepreneurship, leadership and applied sciences, and elite sports coaching, including basketball and volleyball.

These academies provide students with the opportunity to develop new skills, challenge themselves, and explore potential future passions in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether students are interested in building confidence on stage, developing leadership and business ideas, or training with high-level sports coaches, there will be a wide range of options to suit different interests and goals.

Students can immerse themselves in a focused academy experience while meeting new peers, learning from specialists, and discovering new strengths.

Yes, absolutely! Families may register for either one week or both weeks of the programme, depending on availability and your child’s interests. Each week offers different experiences, so many students choose to attend both weeks to explore additional activities or academies. Places are limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your preferred options.

Each day follows a structured and engaging schedule designed to keep children active, curious, and learning throughout the day. Students rotate through a variety of experiences including literacy, numeracy, aquatics, movement, art and music.

Mornings focus on building key skills through interactive literacy and numeracy sessions, while creative activities such as art and music encourage imagination and self-expression. Throughout the day, students enjoy movement and aquatics sessions that promote confidence, teamwork and physical wellbeing.

The schedule includes regular breaks, lunch and opportunities for social time, ensuring a balanced day where children stay energised, engaged and happy.

By the end of the week, students leave with new skills, new friendships and growing confidence in trying new things.

Students in Grades 3-4 join the Young Voyagers programme, where they select one Deep-Dive specialisation for the week. This allows students to go beyond sampling activities and instead develop deeper skills, confidence, and pride in what they create.

Yes. Secondary students may select one provider in Week 1 and a different provider in Week 2, subject to space availability. This allows students to explore multiple interests or pathways across the two weeks.

Our Sports Camp is thoughtfully designed to give students a balanced, energising, and enjoyable experience across the day. Rather than focusing on a single sport for an extended period, the programme is structured into half-day sessions. So, if your child would prefer to focus on a single sport, such as basketball or volleyball, they can enrol in a half-day session dedicated to that sport.
For students joining a full-day Sports Camp, the day is intentionally split between two sports; basketball and volleyball so they can experience variety, develop a wider range of skills, and stay fully engaged throughout the day

No prior experience is required for most programmes. Our goal is to support students at different levels, whether they are trying something new or building on an existing interest.

Students will enjoy a variety of nutritious meals and snacks that are designed to meet their dietary needs and preferences. The food at the UNIS Summer Programme is healthy, balanced, and tasty, and is prepared with fresh ingredients.

Snacks will be a selection from fresh fruit and healthy treats. Lunch will include a variety of options such as sandwiches, salads, pasta, rice, vegetables, and protein sources such as chicken, fish or tofu. Vegetarian and vegan options are available as well. Please let us know of any specific allergies.

We do not offer discounts for returning students or multi-week bookings. Our programme is carefully priced to remain accessible to as many families as possible while maintaining the high quality of the experience for every child.

Placement in the UNIS Hanoi Summer Programme is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Payment must be completed during the official registration period.

We understand that plans can change. Adjustments may be possible if space is available, although we cannot guarantee changes once programmes reach capacity.
