Welcome to Lower Elementary School! We know that a child’s first experiences in school lay the foundation for the rest of their school career.
At the heart of our philosophy is an enduring belief that children are unique, capable and competent individuals who are full of knowledge, curiosity and wonder.
We see our students as a community of diverse researchers, who delight in ordinary moments that can be made extraordinary through shared dialogue and expression through a variety of materials. We believe children connect, communicate and build relationships through the many languages of play such as discovery, creation, construction and experimentation. We empower children to view themselves as authors, mathematicians, readers, scientists, athletes and artists.
Our Lower Elementary School children leave us with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge, the confidence to ask questions and a love of learning which continues throughout their time at UNIS Hanoi.
