After months of planning, nature decided to let us know who is really in charge and changed the direction of our Vietnam International School Counsellor Association (VISCA) Hanoi University Fair. Thanks to the incredible group of universities and partner schools in Hanoi, we were able to pivot and still give our students a day of learning from our university experts.

Originally, students would have attended only one workshop face-to-face, but by shifting to an online platform, they were able to attend two workshops and explore everything from how to put together a good arts portfolio to learning about Vietnam’s exploding hospitality industry and how the industry is changing in a post-pandemic world. We were impressed with how our students engaged and hope everyone took something away from this experience. 

Thanks to BIS Hanoi’s flexibility, we were able to take over 50 students to their campus to meet with the 110 university representatives who were excited to share program offerings from their 19 different countries. It’s always so rewarding to see a student buzzing with excitement after learning about a program they hadn’t thought of before or finding an option within their budget which they would be keen to pursue!
