UNIS Swimmers Break School Records at Intrasquad Meet
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our friendly intrasquad competition this past weekend. It was a morning filled with high energy and “very interesting” races that provided our athletes with an invaluable platform to grow.

A Focus on Development
The primary goal of this meet was to provide a low-pressure environment for some of our young swimmers to practice official starts, some more experienced swimmers to experiment with new race strategies, and compete in events outside of their usual comfort zones. Seeing our athletes “try new things” in the water is a vital part of their long-term development.
Record-Breaking Performances
Although this meet was designed with a “training philosophy” background and back to back races without much rest time, the results were truly impressive. Alongside many new Personal Bests (PBs), several of our swimmers managed to break.
