UNIS Hanoi Students Participate in a Spanish Literary Contest

Nine UNIS Hanoi students from different grades took part in the second edition of the literary contest “Aprende español y disfrutarás de la vida “ [Learn Spanish and you will enjoy life] organised by the Spanish Embassy in Hanoi to promote the language among the Spanish students in Hanoi. The contest attracts 70 participants from university and secondary school levels. UNIS Hanoi students were the only ones from secondary school, the others were from Hanoi University (HANU).

Our students showed determination, creativity, knowledge, and high writing skills in their work.

Jeonha Kim in Grade twelve came fourth with his story “¿Por qué dar calabazas es una frase injusta?. He was invited to the awards ceremony at the residence of the Spanish Ambassador to receive a Diploma and special recognition for his original and unique story.

We hope to continue these types of initiatives so our students can extend their learning outside the classroom and keep improving in their Spanish.

Well done to our students who took part in the contest:

Indigo Vucovich – Nuestro futuro
Tahel Barazani –  Un Olor con millones de recuerdos
Parami Htoo McArthur – La vida continua
Robin Van Tienen – Desapareciendo en los libros
Dylan Kim – Una historia que contar
Olivia Kim – Inútil
Khanh Linh Nguyen- La gratitud
Audrey Hanson – Atrapada en su destino
