Tết Celebration in Elementary School

For a few weeks prior to Tet, Vietnamese teachers and students in Elementary school have been so busy exploring how Vietnamese people celebrate Tết. The students have had a lot of fun learning about Vietnamese culture  involving in different workshops such as drawings pictures of the Vietnamese Zodiac, making Tết trees such as ‘cây đào’ (peach blossom), ‘cây mai’ (apricot trees), ‘cây quất’ (kumquat trees), making Tết cards and lì xì (lucky money envelopes)…

Unfortunately, due to the new COVID-19 situation, our Tet Assembly cannot happen. We, however, hope you can still feel the Tết atmosphere around you when enjoying some of the photos from our Tet activities at school.

We would like to take this occasion to wish everyone a Happy New Year to welcome the year of the Buffalo – năm “Tân Sửu”.

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
