After the break we are excited to celebrate the start of UNovember with the launch of our Annual Community Campaign for our 35th Birthday.
For more than a decade, the UNIS Hanoi community has achieved extraordinary impact by joining together each year to support projects that are important to our students and our Mission and Vision. (Read more)
And in our 35th Birthday Year we invite you to join us and help empower change through two projects:
| 1. SOLAR: Continue to expand our commitment to solar and clean energy for the School. Our goal is to raise $35,000 to install 100 more panels. |
| 2. SCHOLARSHIPS: Together build a ‘bank’ of community funded Scholarship Years, each with a value of $35,000 to support the sustainability of our Scholarship Programme. |
If every UNIS family commits $35 dollars we will be well on our way to reaching each of our goals!
We already have students planning a ‘Homeroom Solar Panel Challenge’ to raise $350 and add their own Class panel to the roof! Maybe it will catch on for families too! A ‘Birthday Gift’ to honour our students’ passion for change!

AND we have project partners who will DOUBLE the impact of your gifts through our match-funding challenge!
That sounds amazing but what does it mean?
For the first $35,000 raised for each project, every dollar will be matched!
- With our Solar campaign, the School will continue to partner with the Impact Fund and for every dollar raised, they will match it to double it! 100 panels will become 200 panels!
- With our Scholarship campaign, a generous leadership gift from a UNIS family (and the original founders of our Scholarship Fund), will match community gifts to a total of $35,000 which would mean two Scholarship Years ‘in the bank’.
We will be sending every family details about how you can support these projects (and double your gift!) on Tuesday 1 November – the launch of UNovember.
The simple truth is that together we can do more, and with partners we can double our impact!
