Senior MRISA Basketball Teams Shine in Bangkok

Our Senior MRISA basketball teams travelled to Bangkok this past week and competed in the first ever Super MRISA tournament at KIS International School. Our teams battled hard against fierce competition with the level of play at its best in years. The boys led by Coach Toby Jarman made their way to the Plate Final where they won the gold in an exciting game. Our girls team led by Coach Zahara made the Plate Finals and despite playing their hearts out, they unfortunately lost by 2 points to IGBIS from Malaysia. Tournament all team selections were Christiano Piro and Minh Nguyen so we would like to congratulate them and the teams on a wonderful tournament.
