SDG 3 Day: Active, Connected, and You!

The Elementary School celebrated “SDG 3 Day” – a day with a focus on ‘Good Health and Well-being’ with student choice being a key driver for the design of the day.  

The jam-packed day, held on 24 April for Grades 1-5 and on 25 April for ECC students, included a variety of activities designed to promote the three strands of PE within the Primary Years Programme:  Active Living, Identity, and Interactions.  Students participated in 3 SDG 3 Day activities, and were required to make a choice from a menu of activities under each strand.

“Active Living” activities, include options such as cycling, gymnastics, badminton, skateboarding and active games – helping to reinforce the importance of a balanced active lifestyle.  “Identity” activities allowed students to celebrate self-discovery and explore Vietnamese culture through vegan snack making, cultural dance, arts, crafts and Nhảy sạp. “Interactions” focused on building relationships and understanding our connection to the world, featuring gardening, team challenges, construction and board games.
