NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY VISIT

Chemistry Professor Loh Zhi Heng and Admissions Manager Vijay Krishnan Chandran visited UNIS Hanoi on Wednesday at lunch and were highly impressed with our students! High Schoolers interested in studying sciences in university were invited to stop by and speak to Professor Loh about which specific courses they might pursue in university, current topics in scientific research, and potential careers in the science field. About 35 students stopped by for a one-to-one conversation. Professor Loh commented, “This is the best group of kids on our entire international trip!”, stating our questions were thoughtful, interesting, and demonstrated curiosity. Well done, UNIS students!

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY VISIT

Many UNIS Hanoi students also took advantage of New York University visiting our campus at lunch on Thursday. The representative was excited to tell our students about their new Bachelor of Science in Music Business. It is another example of applied business programs that they offer, which are perfect for students who want hands-on learning and lots of site field visits. It joins their list from the School of Professional studies that has programs for real estate, sports management and hospitality. They also talked to students about their new supplemental essay question and shared how it is an opportunity for students to share with them how they have dealt with the complexities in the world around them. Students used their lunch hour to learn about these exciting opportunities, demonstrate their interest and ask last minute application questions. Mr. Daniel is meeting with the representative on Monday to gain an even deeper understanding of their application process.
