Last week, High School students brought the popular American musical, The Pajama Game to the UNIS Hanoi stage.
Over three days, the students dazzled, danced and sang their hearts out to their audience. The musical received praise from members of the UNIS Hanoi community. The Director, UNIS Hanoi’s Theatre teacher, Ms Georgia Crinis said she was impressed by the students’ professionalism.
She added, “Our students worked hard in a very short space of time to put together a dazzling, colorful show which left the audience smiling and tapping their feet. It’s been extraordinary to watch the cast, crew and musicians in the Pit Orchestra, all work with dedication to piece together this excellent show. The music played by the orchestra magically enhances the choreography and song which is unbelievably sassy and fun. I also want to congratulate our Grade 12 students who performed, stage managed or tech managed what was their final UNIS Hanoi show.”
The Pajama Game is a high energy show that tells the story of romantic love in a 1950s USA pajama factory. This tale reminds us of the power of the workers group to create positive change for workers rights when needed. Enjoy the pictures below.
