High School Set to Perform Series of One-Act Plays!

A group of High School students are gearing up to put on a series of one-act plays that will delight, intrigue and entertain people of all ages. The plays, ‘All in the Timing' and 'Time Flies' offer a comical view on the meaning of existence and will be staged in the Centre for the Arts from next Thursday (October 29). 

UNIS Hanoi’s Secondary School Theatre Teacher, Georgia Crinis says this performance is not to be missed. She continued, “The audience can expect to see dynamic, varied and talented performances. The acting conventions used involve physical theatre, farce, absurdism and David Ives' masterful use of words. This is a very colourful and attractive show which will delight, uplift, create hope and amuse the audience.”

Tickets are on sale for 100,000 VND and can be purchased from the Centre for the Arts and in the Canteen (during lunchtime). 

To help keep our community safe from COVID-19, the following crowd-control measures have been put in place:

On Thursday October 29, 18:30- 20:30
Audience Members: Grade 9, Grade 10 students, teachers and staff

On Friday October 30, 18:30- 20:30
Audience Members: Grade 11, Grade 12 students, teachers and staff

On Saturday October 31, 14:00-16:00
Audience Members: All UNIS Hanoi Parents as well as siblings of actors and crew only.

The groups are divided as above to permit physical distancing in the theatre. All tickets must be acquired in advance and all theatre-goers are required to wear their masks at all times on campus and in the theatre. 

In addition to the in-person performances, the play will be live-streamed on Saturday October 31 from 14:00.
