Our Grade 7 Design students are currently working on the Where’s the App? unit which challenges them to learn JavaScript to develop a custom mobile app for a Grade 3 student here at UNIS Hanoi. The purpose of this app is to share more information about an SDG that was identified by the 3rd grader as something they would like to learn about. Our clients also indicated their favorite educational apps, colors, and the type of font they like best so that Grade 7 students could develop a customized aesthetic. Once the app is partially developed, our students will share a wireframe plan of the app with their client to get feedback on what improvements can be made. Students will reveal their final app to the Grade 3 clients by the end of UNovember! Three of the apps will be chosen to help expand our sphere of influence to other students outside of UNIS Hanoi who might be interested in learning about the SDGs. They will be featured on the Blue Dragon website: Resources for students, by students.
