Students in Grade 1 were excited to meet with some important visitors to UNIS Hanoi this week during their ‘Live Museum’. At the touch of a green button frozen figures came to life to talk about who they are and explain their life stories, before freezing again once their presentation was over. The actors were UNIS Hanoi Teachers and administrators dressed up as significant figures in our lives including Kamala Harris, Cathy Freeman, Wim Hof and Mr Josh’s Dad. It was a fun and engaging experience to launch Grade 1’s new unit called ‘Where we are in Place and Time’. During this unit, students will explore who the significant people are in their lives and what makes someone important. Who are the important people in the lives of your family? What stories might you be able to share and finally, what faces can you recognise from our photos today?
