Evenings of Words and Wonder
On the evenings of 16 & 23 January, the Bookworm in Hanoi became a warm, glowing space filled with words, memories, and quiet magic. Our talented high school poets, assisted by Ms Louvet and Ms Le, gathered to share original poems inspired by the theme of nostalgia, each piece offering a glimpse into moments that felt both personal and universal—childhood memories, fleeting friendships, familiar places, and the bittersweet passage of time.

As voices rose and fell among the shelves of the books, the room seemed to hold every memory a little more gently. Some poems were soft and reflective, others vivid and emotional, but together they created a mural of stories that connected everyone in the present. Bright laughter, thoughtful silence, and the occasional shimmer of emotion filled the air. Surrounded by the scent of new books, poets returned to beloved people, lands of memory, buried passions, and shared trust.
By the end of the readings, the night felt like a shared memory in the making, a reminder that nostalgia is not only about looking back, but also about cherishing the present moments that will one day become memories themselves.
Thank you so much to the bookworm for helping us bring together this tapestry of memory and emotion!
