UNIS Hanoi was proud to co-host the Asian Schools for Safety & Security Conference (ASISS) on November 22nd, welcoming hundreds of attendees from 32 international schools, the US Embassy and organizations across Asia. Since its inception in 2016, ASISS has established itself as one of the most valuable and authentic safety and security conferences for Asia-based international schools and educational safety professionals. This gathering brings together education professionals, safety experts, and operational leaders, united in their commitment to creating safer and more secure learning environments.
Through this forum, participants aim to promote and reinforce best practices in campus safety and security by sharing resources and technical knowledge of schools in Asia. This year’s program emphasizes campus security strategies, safeguarding best practices, emergency preparedness, and comprehensive risk management. Key discussions also explore health and safety protocols, effective incident response, and the integration of technology to strengthen campus security. The conference establishes and develops a collegial network for continual collaboration among school security administrators, ultimately improving safety and security benchmarks for our UNIS students, staff, and wider community.
