Learning Together is a conference where Teachers Teach Teachers. The conference was envisioned as a professional learning opportunity for local educators from around Hanoi to come and learn together with colleagues from UNIS Hanoi.

This year, Learning Together Conference went virtual to provide the broadest possible access to all teachers and educators in Hanoi in the time of crisis. The seven hour virtual conference took place last Saturday with 25 presentations by UNIS Hanoi teachers and teaching assistants and provided guidance, skills and discussion forums for a range of topics including social and emotional learning, distance learning and effective class management.

The event was a success with over 1200 sign ups to all the workshops and approximately 500 attendees. It was a great opportunity to share our expertise and learn alongside local Vietnamese teachers. We are thrilled that most of our participants found the sessions informative, well-formatted and useful.

A big thank you to the Learning Together team on successfully hosting the Learning Together Conference. Special thanks to the Tech team who kept the programme running smoothly in the background and to all the teachers and teaching assistants who stepped up to present.
