Our previous Art Tours have been full of interesting encounters with artists, descriptions of the history and works of art, and discovery of some interesting galleries and new artists. Ms Vu Kim Thu, who has worked at the School of Fine Art and is an artist herself, conducts our tours. We have had very good feedback from participants about the high standard of her tours.
One of the highlights of our Art Tours has been the visits to Artist’s gallery. In Session 3, we are conducting one tour which is exclusively a visit to Artists’ studios around Hanoi, on Sunday, 4 February from 1 pm to 4 pm. In conjunction with this tour, we are offering a weekday look at the Fine Art School, on Wednesday, 14 March from 9 am to 12 noon. As the Fine Art School is the main training college of many of the artists working in Hanoi today, this will be a wonderful way to discover more about the life of the artist.
For anyone who is interested in art, life in Vietnam and in having an interesting and inspiring day out, book for one or both of our art tours on the Community Education page.
