Well I was at UNIS from 1998-1998 and I had a great time, after that I went back to Australia for fours years, now 2 years from finishing high school there but the sense of family in overseas friends has sent me on a cultural exchange to Peru. I am now in Peru and having a great time, and at the end of this year i will go back to AUstralia where I will finish high school and after the world awaits. UNIS and Vietnam really opened up my eyes and now I can't wait to see more of the world, which hopefully will include a trip back to Vietnam in the near future. If you remember me please email me. Hey everyone,

Its good to see so many familiar names on the list of alumni. After I left Hanoi our family moved back to India for three years, after which we moved to Milan, Italy where I finished high school. I am now in Illinois completing a bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology. I have one more year to go, after which I'm not quite sure what I'm planning to do. My brother Maneesh, who some of you will definitely remember, finished high school in boarding school in India, went to Ireland for college and is currently working there. I'll see if I can get him to write in. Like many many UNISers I keep in touch with, I miss Hanoi like crazy, and keep telling everyone who will never quite be able to understand, how those truly 'were the days' Keep in touch guys, we need to plan an 'early 90's' reunion one of these days. Ciao.(04/2002)

Hi Everyone! It's so nice to see how far UNIS has come:) I hope to see the new campus when I visit later this year. I'm starting my first year of teaching (high school English) and my master's degree this fall! Drop me a line, and let me know if you're ever in Colorado.

UNIS is an experience that I will never forget. It was a great place where I met some fantastic people.

After leaving UNIS at the end of Year 9, I went back to Australia to finish school. When I was starting my last year of school, my parents returned to Hanoi to live (at Sedona, which is really great for holidays!) After I finished school I enrolled at the University of Melbourne where I'm studying Commerce. I finish in about 9 months, so that's something to look forward to.

After that I'm not sure what happens... I'm open to suggestions. I usually get to go back to Vietnam once a year, usually during Christmas time, hopefully I can meet up with some of you guys in 'Nam sometime. Angela and Austin are in Melbourne too, and I catch up with them sometimes. I also send random emails to Angelica. I better respond to Angela's growth comment.  That's right, I did grow.  I know stand 7 foot tall. And it isn't because of puberty, its cause I stopped eating Pho and starting eating potatos again.

Well, send me an email sometime. UNIS was a great experience and I'd love to hear from you all.

I spent the best years of my life  in UNIS Hanoi. In 93, I came back to India to finish my schooling. I went on to do a degree in Economics and am presently working as an Analyst in Ernst and Young, New Delhi. I have the most beautiful memories of my years in Hanoi and would love to hear from everybody else especially Nor Aynne, Dhare, Adeola, Sam Sternin, Sam Blair.

Look forward to hearing from you guys!

First of all, let me say how exciting it is to know that people are reconnecting after they have left UNIS and to know how their lives moved on afterwards.

As for me, I moved to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia after four years in Hanoi. For those of you who know Mr. Haverkamp, he also moved to Addis and also taught P.E. at the International Community School. No I didn't ride on an elephant to school and I certainly didn't live on a tree when I was there (I did get asked all sort of questions when people know I lived there).

Currently, I'm doing my third and last year of psychology at the University of Melbourne. I'm not planning to make my millions yet (haha), but will most likely get my masters straight after my undergraduate. I've kept touch with some alumni, particularly those who were in my class (Ronald, David, Austin, Angelica, In Myung, Nick, Aznin, Aireen, Su Mon). David, Austin, and I are in Melbourne; David and I go to the same university. By the way, I just have to mention this-David grew! It's unbelievable; I thought it would take more than puberty for him to shoot up!

Before this turns into an essay, let me spare you the pain. So, just drop me an email and let's catch up on where we left of. Cheers :)
