Hi UNIS!! I know it has been a long time since I visit this site. I do miss Hanoi very much and it's one of those places that I consider to call home. At the moment I'm in Tropical North Queensland (Townsville), Australia. I'm currently attending James Cook University. Since I left Hanoi...I have been working 3 part time jobs, finishing up my Accounting degree, paying off my first home loan and the most exciting thing of all I got engaged. I got engaged last November to a local business man's son. So Townsville is going to be my new home... Received: 30 October 2007
Hi, This is Hassan from Iran. I was at UNIS for a short period but whenever I look back I remeber nothing but the real fun days at UNIS. I specially remember Ms. Minix our ESL teacher and Mr. Waters our bald science teacher. oh and of course all the hockey and soccer we did... Man I miss it so much! I would be very glad to get in contact with a couple of my classmates of the same year. I am studying close by in Tokyo University now. It would be even nicer if there is a reunion or something!!!s Received: 28 May 2007
I was at UNIS during the 96-97 school year (my 10th grade) and had the time of my live living in Hanoi. Now I am about to graduate from Stanford University with a degree in Anthropology (specifically medical anthropology) and hope to go on to earn a Masters of Public Health. Hopefully someday I'll be living in Southeast Asia again, this time working in international public health. For now, I'll be in Northern California another few years, so look me up if you're in the area.
I would love to keep in touch with some of my old teachers and friends from the school and be a part of the UNIS alumni. I was a student in the year 1995-96 in the 6th grade. I returned to India later. Right now I'm doing my undergraduate course in engineering here.
I was in UNIS for about three years and was one the best things in my life. Currently I am doing my 'O' Levels in a boarding school. I am looking forward to coming back to UNIS for a visit (09/02).
