Hanoi Schools Rugby Championship
UNIS Fields, 24 March 2007

It was so good to see so many of our students from 3rd to 12th Grades playing rugby on our fields recently.  There were so many good games and it was wonderful to see our students enjoying themselves in such a sporting competition.  It was also very pleasing to see so many of our parents watching as well as a large number of students who came down to support.

My thanks to the UNIS Rugby coaches who have worked wonders in the short time that they have been working with our players.  Although we did not manage to win (The French School actually took the honours on Saturday) it was evident that we are not far off the pace and can expect to do even better when next we line up.  Congratulations to the players for performing so well and to the organisers of the tournament for the enjoyment that it provided for all present.

A good afternoon.

Regards,

Alun Cooper
Head of School
