Walkathon for Blue Dragon

Elementary children from pre k to grade 5 participated in a walkathon on Friday 2nd March. Each child ran or walked approximately 15- 20 minutes around a 250 metre sport field.
The aim of the walkathon was to raise money for the charity organisation, Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. This was the Elementary Student Council’s biggest fundraiser for the year. The PTA kindly donated ice creams for children, acknowledging their great effort for such a worthy cause. The children have one week to collect their sponsorship money.
