Learning about Lacquer Grade 2 Visitor,
20 March 2007
As part of the Vietnamese program and our UOI, Grade 2 students met a special visitor, a lacquer painter. His name is Thong. Mr. Thong has shown us how to draw a portrait and how to make a lacquer painting, the unique art in Vietnam. It was so interesting to find out that lacquer comes from a tree name cay son in Vietnam. Each class got chance to make a lacquer painting ourselves. It was really fun.
