The Grade 2 students visited the Middle High school
science lab where Mr. Hodgkinson amazed them with experiments about 'Heat'.
He stunned them by using heat to bend metal, he showed them how
heat moves by convection and he used a candle to heat metals so the children
were able to see that heat travels through different metals at different
speeds. The children came away with new understandings about heat and
they are looking forward to the up and coming Science Fair where they
can demonstrate their understandings.
