Kindergarten Celebrates “I See a Song”

PAC was a little like a celebration of our favourite Eric Carle books. The children had been doing a Unit of Inquiry called “How we Express Ourselves”, and had been learning about different artists and how they expressed themselves. K-GH decided they liked the book “Have You Seen my Cat?” K-CF enjoyed “A House for Hermit Crab”. K-AP loved “The Very Busy Spider” and K-AH’s favourite was the all-time favourite “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”.

The children looked gorgeous as they danced and sang in their wonderful costumes to the themes of their favourite stories.

They finished the show by singing a very special song called “We the Children”, emphasized the strength and potential of children as they expressed themselves in many different ways…. “we the children are golden, and we the children are light!”

The parents, teachers, and children alike had a fabulous evening as we were treated to great sights and sounds from our wonderful children inspired by their wonderful teachers! (And Eric Carle of course!)
