Academics

UNIS is organised into an Elementary School (Discovery to Grade 5), a Middle School (Grades 6 to 8), and a High School (Grades 9 to 12).

The main Elementary School buildings house Grade 1 -5, Media and Technology Centre, Resource and Guidance, EAL, Foreign and Mother Tongue Language, Administration including Principal’s office, and Nurse’s room. Art and Music are in a separate building adjacent to the Elementary school.

The playground consists of a courtyard area and an open area with adventure playground and grassed playing fields.

The Early Childhood Education Centre, meets the needs of Discovery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children and includes a large outdoor play space. The ECC campus also houses Music and PE facilities for ECC students.

Sports facilities include a hard court area and grassed playing fields. The swimming pool and change facilities are currently being constructed.

Class sizes are small where there is opportunity for individual attention through a child centred programme. The school environment is supportive, intimate and friendly.
