The school gained the approval to offer the
IB Diploma Programme in 1998 and the International Baccalaureate
Middle Years Programme was adopted by the school in 1997. The IB

Fees |

Details
of tuition and terms of payment are subject to change. Application
and Enrolment fees are payable when applying and upon acceptance
respectively. Annual tuition for the 2006-2007 school year
ranges from US $5,054 for the half-day Discovery Programme
to US $12,411 for Grade 12. An annual development fee of US$
3,000 for grades Kindergarten through 12 is also levied with
Pre-kindergarten paying US$ 1,500. Additional fees for school
bus, EAL may apply to some students.

Student
Activities |
There
is an after school activities (ASA) programme from 3:00 p.m. to
5:15 p.m. (or later in some instances). Three different sessions
are offered throughout the year. All students are encouraged to
seek out involvement in the diverse array of activities.

Camp |
UNIS
Summer Camp is offered to all children who are interested regardless
which school he/ she is currently studying at. >More

Community
Education (ComEd) |
The UNIS Community Education Programme (Com
Ed) is run by the Community Relations Office at UNIS Hanoi and
is open to all members of the Hanoi Community. We run courses in
Food, Wine and Culture, Skill-Building, Newcomers, Language, Movement
and Games for Adults. We also have activities for children. > More

Parent
Involvement |
The
school is governed by a 9-member Board
of Directors, which is comprised of elected parents and appointed
members as well as representatives from the United Nations. The
school has an active Parent-Teacher
Association. Particularly at the younger grades, parents are
often invited to help out in the classroom if they wish to.
