Once the admissions review has been completed and the application approved by our School Principal, your family will receive an invitation to accept an offer of placement. Following confirmation of your acceptance, the application shall move into the enrolment phase.
Parents can secure each placement offered by completing enrolment in full for each child. A tuition deposit and an enrolment fee are required at this stage. A UNIS Hanoi medical package is also required for each new student, inclusive of a medical examination and full immunisation history. This medical package can be completed by a doctor of your choice. UNIS Hanoi follows the immunisation schedule as per the US Centre for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for the purposes of enrolment. All vaccination details must be provided in the medical form and verified by the attending doctor.
Please kindly note that we require all enrolled students to provide and up-to-date immunisation schedule based on CDC vaccination guidelines as follows:
The following vaccinations are REQUIRED by UNIS Hanoi: Polio / DTap / Tdap / MMR / Varicella / Yellow Fever Certificate (if coming from an infected area).
The following vaccinations are RECOMMENDED for Vietnam: Hepatitis A / Hepatitis B / Typhoid / Haemophilus Influenza Type B (HIB) / Japanese Encephalitis / Rabies.
Parents please note, medical information must be reviewed and approved prior to any new student starting school. Our medical team will contact you directly if they have concerns about information that you have provided. In order to ensure a smooth transition for your child/ren, please ensure all medical information is complete and inclusive of all required vaccinations.
Please be advised that the completion of all enrolment items is necessary in order for your child/ren to begin school. Only when enrolment checklists are complete will be be able to create your family identity cards, arrange your child's schedule and register them for classes.
Students who do not satisfy the school's requirement to complete enrolment in full may have their entry date delayed.
If you have questions regarding the enrolment process, please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Office at email@example.com.
If Enrolment is not immediately available due to space constraints, applicants will be placed on a wait list.
Completed applications shall be placed on the relevant grade level waiting list on a first-come first-served basis in line with UNIS Hanoi admissions policies.
It is difficult to determine how long an application may be placed on a waiting list as this can vary from grade to grade. Some applicants may be able to apply for a current vacancy and the process of applying, acceptance and enrolment may take several weeks. If there is no vacancy, completed applications are placed on the waiting list indefinitely until placements become available. To maintain an application on the waiting list, school reports must be updated throughout each subsequent year.
Placements for semester one of a new school year are normally offered between April and June. Placements for the second semester are normally offered between November and January. As vacancies become available new students will be placed throughout the school year.
