The sun was shining down on the celebration of “Rapprochement of Cultures” for our 26th UN Day today!

It was a carnival of culture and learning with the UN Day Assembly as its centre-piece with its wonderful Flag Parade celebrating the 65 nationalities represented in our community.

UNIS Hanoi was honoured to be joined by our guest speakers Dr Pratibha Mehta, UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam, Madame Nguyen Phuong Nga, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr Tran Ba Viet Dzung, Director General, International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Education and Training.

Thanks to all student flag bearers, the UNIS Hanoi Symphonic Orchestra, the Middle and Elementary School Choirs, the HS Dance Group and our student speakers, Quynh Anh Do, Long Than and Hae Ji Noh.

And the entire community for joining together to create our Community Lunch to end a wonderful day.
